Receive a 60% discount on your water bill when you use essential water in your home for bathing, cooking, drinking and washing. 

How does it work?

The Assure - Essential Saver tariff offers you a 60% discount on your 'essential' water usage. 

Essential water use includes bathing, cooking, drinking and washing. 

We understand that no two days are the same and your water use may increase from time to time. But,  by being on this tariff, even if you keep your water use the same as it is now, you will still save money. If you can reduce the amount you use, then you will save even more!

For example, if you live in a household of one to two people, you will receive a 60% discount on the water you use up to 150 litres per day. Any water you use over the discounted amount will be charged at your normal metered rate. So, if you used 160 litres of water, you will receive a 60% discount on the 150 litres used and you will only be charged at your usual metered rate for the 10 litres you used over your 'essential use'. 

Who is eligible? 

This tariff is available to you if you have a water meter installed at your property and have a yearly household income between £22,011 and £27,000.

What happens when I am on the tariff? 

After you have successfully been put on the tariff, we will notify you and send a welcome pack to explain how the tariff will work.
